The Agribusiness Association of Iowa (AAI) is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Iowa Agribusiness Impact Award, which recognizes individuals, businesses, or initiatives making a meaningful and lasting impact on Iowa’s agricultural economy, rural communities, or the broader food and ag system.
Nominations are open through Sept. 1, 2026. Award recipients will be honored at the Agribusiness Showcase and Conference, to be held Feb. 9–10, 2027 at the Meadows Conference Center in Altoona, Iowa.
The first Agribusiness Impact Award recipients were recognized at the 2026 Agribusiness Showcase & Conference in February. Two individuals and one business were honored for their contributions: Steve Sukup – Sukup Manufacturing Inc.; Dave Tierney – Bayer CropScience (retired); and Liqui-Grow.
“The Iowa Agribusiness Impact Award celebrates the visionaries and changemakers who are helping to advance the future of Iowa agriculture,” said Julie Kenney, Chief Executive Officer at AAI. “We look forward to recognizing those who are making a lasting impact on the state’s agricultural community.”
