That’s where Barnes was shot during a fist fight with Walker. Sentencing is set for April 26.

A Coralville person who challenged an arrest during a public protest was acquitted of both charges filed in the case. Tara Dutcher was arrested after a group of protesters blocked traffic outside the University of Iowa’s Memorial Union last October.  Dutcher argued the police lieutenant on the scene was pushing protesters who were trying to protect one another. The story got national attention. The jury found Dutcher not guilty of disorderly conduct by blocking the street, and of interference with official acts.
