Iowa State University Extension and Outreach’s Ag Management and Leadership Program is now accepting nominations for the annual Iowans Impacting Agriculture recognition. This award celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to Iowa’s agricultural industry and the communities it serves.
The Iowans Impacting Agriculture recognition showcases leaders who demonstrate innovation, vision and a strong commitment to advancing agriculture.
“We want to honor, recognize and highlight Iowans who are making positive changes and creating a more sustainable Iowa,” said Madeline Schultz, agriculture and natural resources extension specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach. The award acknowledges Iowans who are improving economic resiliency and stability; conserving natural resources; and being influential agricultural leaders, family members and community volunteers.
“This recognition highlights individuals who are making a lasting difference in agriculture across the state,” said Schultz. “Their leadership and forward-thinking efforts are helping strengthen Iowa agriculture today while building momentum for the future.”
