Secretaries for the Agriculture and Health and Human Services Departments Wednesday provided an update on implementation progress for the latest Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
That was USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins. The guidelines provide guidance for federal food programs across the nation. Rollins says that Wednesday’s announcement is the kickoff to those efforts.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says that more guidance for food programs and methods to expand access to healthy, affordable, whole foods will be announced soon.
