A New Home for a Summertime Favorite
For 25 years now, one of the favorite events in these parts is the Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade, a multi-day ride featuring hundreds of tractors, fun, and fellowship.
And News/Talk 1540 KXEL is proud to be the new radio sponsor of Tractorcade, starting with this year’s event.
Mount Pleasant will be the base camp for the 26th annual Tractorcade, which will be held from June 8th through the 11th. We could not be happier to make sure this fixture of Iowa summertime continues, and we’re looking to make it even better than ever.
Andy Peterson of the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network will be back for Tractorcade this year…and you’ll be treated to the beautiful countryside of Henry, Van Buren, Washington, and Des Moines counties.
This change in radio station sponsorship does mean a new way to register; if you already sent in your materials, you’ll be hearing from us shortly. And registration will be open at kxel.com/tractorcade and the Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade Facebook page within the next day or so…so check back often.
No change in anything that has made the ride so great for a quarter century…just a different hometown radio station spreading the word statewide on our 50,000-watt clear channel frequency.
