RAGBRAI kicks off this weekend and cities along the route are not only preparing for thousands of bicyclists, they are making sure there is help for the riders suffering from the expected scorching heat. The Tama and Toledo RAGBRAI Committee says the city is bringing in temporary showers, campgrounds and RV sites. That stop is the smallest overnight stop in the ride across Iowa that starts Sunday. It arrives in Tama and Toledo Thursday, Coralville Friday, and Davenport Saturday.
