On Press Row with the Sportsguy Gary Rima airs live from Greg’s Place on LaPorte Road in Waterloo Wednesday September 24th. Three interesting guests join the Sportsguy live at Greg’s Place. Steve McGraw, the Hall of Fame boys basketball coach, was the head coach at Waterloo East High School for 30 years. Well, after 5 years away he is back as the Trojans Head Coach. He will open up the show at 5pm and talk East High hoops with us and his return to the Trojans bench!

At about 5:15pm the President and Head Coach of your Waterloo Black Hawks, P. K. O’Handley, joins the show. P.K. is one of the most successful coaches in the history of the USHL. The Black Hawks open up their season at home this Friday night and Coach O’Handley previews this years team.

At about 5:45pm Dan Corbin, the General Manager of the Waterloo Bucks, joins the show. Dan is starting his 10th season as the Bucks GM. Waterloo is coming off another successful season and we will look back at last year and also look ahead to the new season. The Bucks are also now under new ownership and Dan talks about that!

Tom gives the latest information on the Jake Rudock - CJ Beathard quarterback controversy while the Sportsguy and Cole give their opinions on the controversy. To cap the show UNI head volleyball coach Bobbi Peterson joins the program to discuss her team's fast start to the conference season and their big upcoming match on Wednesday night against in-state rival Iowa State.
