Ross Perot began his third party candidacy for president…on the big screen, “A League of Their Own,” “A Few Good Men” and “Wayne’s World”…while on the pop charts, we listened to Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen returned to the charts thanks to inclusion in the “Wayne’s World” film, M.C. Hammer was “2 Legit 2 Quit” and Billy Ray Cyrus sang of an “Achy Breaky Heart”.
