Baseball Karma

As you probably know, I swore off pro sports and most college sports after everything got unduly woke in the summer of 2020. And other than NASCAR and pro rodeo, I still avoid it today…I know enough to take care of business on Draft Kings, but as far as simply watching a game for pleasure, I’ve given that up.

For that reason, I really don’t care who’s playing in the World Series or who wins…but I do find it entertaining that it’s Houston vs. Atlanta.

That’s because Major League Baseball completely caved in to the know-nothings who claimed that Georgia’s amended voting law passed this year was a way to suppress the vote…leading them to move the July All-Star Game and the millions of dollars it would have brought to Atlanta and its citizens–predominantly people of color, by the way.  The game was moved to Colorado, a state with an even stricter voting law than Georgia’s, but never mind–the symbolism was enough.

So now instead of a single All-Star Game, Atlanta just hosted a trio of World Series games and hold a 3-2 series lead heading into tomorrow night’s contest. And there was no way MLB could avoid having the games there…just like they can’t avoid having the other games in Houston. That’s in Texas…the other state that drew fire for an amended voting law this summer, including Democrat state representatives abandoning their desks and fleeing to Washington to try to avoid a vote on the law.

That has to be killing the leftists who care about such things…the top two states on their enemies list are the focus of attention of the baseball world. Karma has a tendency of always winning on the scoreboard.
