On Tuesday June 30th USDA will publish the planted acreage and quarterly grain stocks reports. These reports typically have been known to move the ag marketplace one way or the other based on the updated numbers for planted acreage and the grain on hand in the stocks report.
Matt Bennett is the CEO and co-founder of AgMarket.Net and he tells the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network the pre-report estimates from AgMarket.net.
Bennett says it is difficult to know how accurate the March planting intentions report was based on the survey response.
Although the acreage report will take center stage on Tuesday, Bennett says the quarterly grain stocks report carries significant weight as well.
