DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) – Two people are now dead after an officer involved shooting at a Dubuque bar. The Dubuque Police Department says just before 1 a.m. Sunday an officer saw a physical fight outside of the Odd Fellows bar. That officer saw an adult male, identified as the offender, shoot another person with a handgun. The Department says the officer then shot at the offender while he was running into the bar. Following him inside, officers found the offender suffering from a gunshot wound. Both the offender and the victim were both treated by police but were pronounced dead at different hospitals. While the officer involved was not injured, the officer has been put on Critical Incident Leave as per department policy. The names of all involved are being withheld as the investigation continues and families are notified.

 

FORT DODGE, Iowa (KCRG) – Police said one person is injured after a shooting in Fort Dodge Sunday morning. Authorities received a call of a male being shot at 903 8th St. SW in Fort Dodge around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, officers found a 36-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and then later transferred to Des Moines. Authorities said he is in stable condition. The incident is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to contact them.

 

WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG) – A $1,500 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the resolution of a 2003 double homicide. On January 3, 2003, Waterloo Police found Rhiannon Olsen and Alonzo Quinn dead in the 1000 Block of Hartman Avenue after conducting a welfare check. Olsen was nine months pregnant and the baby did not survive. The cause of death for both Olsen and Quinn was determined to be homicide from gunfire. Their deaths occurred during a string of home invasions, kidnappings, and shootings in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area. CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Iowa Department of Corrections said it’s seeking a man who failed to report back to the Work Release Center on Friday. The department said Tywun Marquese Moore was convicted of 2nd Degree Robbery. The department described Moore as a 23-year-old, 5′9″, 184-pound black male. Anyone with information on Moore’s whereabouts should contact police.
