The Honeymoon Is Still Over
I’ve said before that any honeymoon Joe Biden would have as president would be short-lived, and we’ve already talked about various examples of that. Now, even more…that may suggest something is afoot.
It was ‘hands off’ during the campaign when it came to talking about the then-candidate’s physical or mental health or competency, about his family members’ business dealings over time that sounded like a pay-for-play scheme, examination of the vice presidential candidate’s record on crime from her time as California Attorney General. Those were either deemed non-stories or injurious to the main narrative of defeat-Trump-no-matter-what.
Now, even friendly media outlets like Politico have sharpened their reportorial pencils. We already shared that Democrat legislative leaders leaked on inauguration night that the new Administration had no legislative plan. Now Politico is reporting about questionable business dealings involving another one of the new president’s brothers…Frank Biden, a non-lawyer who consults with a law firm in Florida, touting his brother’s new job in an ad for the firm. The story also quotes the President as saying to his brother last fall, quoting now, “For Christ’s sake, watch yourself…don’t get sucked into something that would, first of all, hurt you.” This, of course, is in addition to another First Brother, James Biden, in partnership with First Son Hunter Biden on all those connections with foreign countries…which after being hushed up during the campaign, became far better known in mainstream media after the election.
Let me adjust my tin foil hat as I spin this next part…is it too far fetched, given what we think about election stealing and the grand plan for the far left wing of the Democrat party, for Joe Biden to in essence be a short-term, useful tool of the left…the less threatening face necessary to win a campaign, the one signing executive orders right and left without any check on power…but that this is all a set-up for pushing him out of office one or two years into his term, either through scandal or health, so the far leftist they really want in control can take power with enough time to not only be the first female president, but also be an incumbent in 2024?
Again, perhaps a bit far-fetched. But then again, the House did advance legislation giving them a mechanism for triggering the 25th Amendment of succession, and that was when everyone thought it was aimed at a second Trump term.
At this point…I’m not discounting any possibility.
