Aris Georgiadis, senior vice president of marketing communications for Dairy Management, said one example is yogurt, which many consumers still view only as a breakfast food.
The campaign’s message, “So Many Reasons for Dairy,” is intended to help consumers see more usage occasions while reinforcing dairy’s nutritional benefits.
Humor is a major part of the creative strategy, helping the ads stand out in a crowded media landscape where consumers are exposed to thousands of messages every day.
Georgiadis said the goal is to make the dairy message memorable enough that it stays with consumers when they are building a shopping list or making decisions in the grocery store.
The target audience is parents with children in the home, which is shaping where the ads are being placed.
The campaign is running heavily across streaming services, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Dairy Management’s Undeniably Dairy social channels, all aimed at reaching families where they consume content together.
After one month, the campaign is already seeing strong early engagement.
Georgiadis said the strong video completion rates are especially encouraging because they show consumers are choosing to stay with the ads instead of skipping past them.
The ultimate goal is to help families better understand dairy’s versatility and nutritional value, creating more reasons to include dairy products in everyday life.
