After Congress failed to act on key biofuels policy- namely year-round E15- the Trump administration is reportedly stepping up to the plate to get something more permanent done. Renewable Fuels Association President and CEO Geoff Cooper said recent announcements have shown that President Trump is honoring his commitment to support renewable fuels.
Cooper said the announcement of summertime E15 sales and a record-setting renewable fuel standard volume are bullish for the industry.
Cooper said he hopes these developments will send a clear signal to Congress to finally pass permanent legislation for year-round E15.
