At last year’s Commodity Classic show in Denver, Valent U.S.A. unveiled its newest active herbicide ingredient, Rapidicil. Since then, research has shown that Rapidicil can help control a variety of weeds when paired with tank mix partners. Pat Clay, product development manager of herbicides at Valent, said Rapidicil acts incredibly quickly.
Clay said the past two years of research have allowed them work with universities, identify which weeds Rapidicil is most effective against, and narrow down the most optimal tank mix partners.
When it comes to those tank mix partners, Clay said farmers have plenty of options.
