Fine Lines
You hear a lot, primarily from folks on the right, about President Biden and his family…he’s not competent enough to serve, he and his family sell influence, his son has violated various gun and drug laws…all of that. Then comes the complaint that the supposedly mainstream media is not reporting on it enough.
You are now starting to hear a few on the left express mild concern about all the Biden matters; it started with major news organizations admitting the Hunter laptop was real.
But here’s the fine line many on the left are walking…they want enough out there to dissuade President Biden from running for re-election, but not so much that it would drive him from office early. That would mean a President Kamala Harris who would run for a full term in her own right in 2024, and that would be a disaster for the party…so would her serving as president, but that’s another matter.
It’s still too soon to have the anti-Biden stuff reach its peak, as the scheme goes…that would have to happen around Labor Day, and after the elites had hand-selected a logical leading candidate to pick up the mantle before the 2024 caucus and primary season. That could be a problem, however.
Pete Buttigieg was an early favorite, but the disasters under his watch as transportation secretary haven’t helped that. Gavin Newsom may be from a big state, but “Make America California” is not going to win nationally. Again, had Harris performed even remotely competently, the job would have been handed to her by now.
All of this, however, is a problem given how early campaigns start. Can Biden play the tease game through the summer…hinting that he’s going to run, but not actually declaring? What Democrat besides Marianne Williamson wants to break from the pack of potential candidates and actually challenge Biden before the heir apparent is anointed by the elites?
But again, that’s the short answer to the question, “Why don’t more people push the Biden Crime Family stuff?” Because it doesn’t fit their plans. But watch for when it does.
