What Exactly Are You Auditing?

Depending on where you get your news, you may have heard somewhat contradictory things about the Arizona vote audit.

You may have heard that essentially, the count was accurate and in fact, perhaps originally undercounted the Biden support last November. That’s true.

But what is often not reported is the real substance…that thousand of votes that were counted should not have been.

Simply recounting bad ballots has no value. But of course, if you like the results of the election, you’re going to focus on that.

You’re not going to focus on the thousands of duplicate ballots, those without required signatures, the fact that in some precincts there were more ballots than there were citizens…and all those atrocities total a number of votes far more than the Biden margin of victory.

And that’s all not counting the deletion of computer files the very day before the audit was to begin…all in violation of state law.

So it comes down to simply, what’s the point of an audit. If it is only bean counting, don’t bother. But if it is making sure that legal beans were counted…then let’s take a look, because that’s where you will find what some want you to ignore.
