PEORIA, Illinois – The UNI volleyball team defeated the Bradley Braves in the final MVC regular season match of the season Sunday afternoon. The Panthers won with set scores of 25-19, 15-25, 25-22, 25-15
The Panthers moved out to an early lead in the first set and rode the momentum to a 25-19 set victory. The Braves responded by taking the second set 25-15 with help from 8 UNI attack errors. UNI then dominated the third set winning 25-22 hitting .263 with 16 kills, 3 aces and 3 blocks. UNI jumped out to an early lead in the fourth set and ran away with the set 25-15.
Emily Holterhaus recorded a team high 12 kills while recording 19 digs. Carly Spies and Megan Witte each added 11 kills while Inga Rotto finished with 10. Rotto hit .250 on the day with 6 block assists. Baylee Petersen accounted for 23 of the Panthers 81 digs and Tayler Alden finished with 39 assists.

-UNI finished with 11 blocks and 10 service aces.

THE BRAVES
-Hit .131 as a team with 42 kills.
-Doga Topcicek finished with 13 kills and a .190 hitting percentage.
-Kora Kauling finished with a team high 23 assists followed by Carlee Camlin with 14.
-Hannah Thompson recorded 9 kills with 22 digs.
