Informed Voters

You have heard me speak often about the fact that I don’t care how many people vote in an election so long as they are informed about the races.

I am struck now buy some rather high-profile people who seemed surprised that Biden has advisers publicly saying that should he become president, there should be a four to six week nationwide lock down to stop the spread of coronavirus. One went so far as to say if she had known that was the plan, she would not have voted for him.

It was never a secret to anyone paying any amount of attention that not only was a nationwide mask mandate and lock down on the table, it was high on the list of options.

Many of the names being floated for cabinet and high-level positions have been in high-level government service before; again, not a surprise to most, but apparently it is to some who actually voted for the man who calls himself president-elect.

And now one of the founders of the Black Lives Matter organization has publicly stated that they expect something in exchange for their votes for Biden. Again, not a surprise to anyone who had been paying attention.

Apparently for some, their hatred of Donald Trump was so strong they did not care who they were voting for as long as it was someone who would drive him from office. Too late for them to start caring about the ramifications of their actions now.
