Crash victim was senior at Neenah high

The 17-year-old victim of a weekend crash in Winnebago County was a senior at Neenah high school.

Alicia Haase was riding in an SUV when a 66-year-old man ran a stop sign at Highway II, in the town of Clayton, on Saturday afternoon.

Neenah school district spokesman Jim Strick says counselors are meeting with Haase's classes today.

Strick says anyone in the school can sit down with a counselor, if they need to talk about what happened.

The Winnebago County sheriff's department says the 66-year-old man missed the stop sign. Four others in the SUV were taken to a hospital.
