W.V. murder suspect caught in Appleton

The suspect in a murder in West Virginia was arrested earlier this week in Appleton.

Twenty-three-year-old Desean Farley is accused of shooting a man outside of an apartment complex in Beckley, West Virginia, and U.S. Marshals found him in Appleton. Farley's mother reportedly lives in the city.

Police from Appleton and Menasha helped marshals take Farley into custody, at an apartment complex on Easthaven Court, on Wednesday morning. He was taken to the Calumet County jail, and he waived extradition back to West Virginia.

Police there issued a warrant for first-degree murder. They believe Farley shot and killed 48-year-old Chester Hayes on July 12.
