Cedar Rapids police investigate multiple shootings

Police in Cedar Rapids are investigating a pair of shootings.

In a span of three hours Thursday night, officers responded to two calls of shots fired.  At around 6:30, police were called to the 14-hundred block of 5th Avenue Southeast on reports of gunfire.  Police say two houses and a car were struck by bullets.  Then, shortly after nine, officers were called to the 600 block of 15th Street Southeast.

No injuries have been reported.

Police would not say if the two shootings are related.
