Waterloo boy found unresponsive at fun center dies

A funeral has been scheduled Wednesday for a 4-year-old boy who died after being found unresponsive at a fun center in Waterloo.

Authorities say Isaiah Neelans died Friday at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa.  He'd been found June 14 at the Thorp Family Fun Center.  Authorities say a rope used to secure inflatables to the ground was found wrapped around the boy's neck.  Police say Isaiah may have been unconscious for up to 10 minutes.

The funeral is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway in Waterloo.
