Hanna hopes Comcast will keep TWC centers

More than 800 people work for Time Warner Cable in Appleton, and the city's mayor is keeping an eye on a proposed $45 billion sale to Comcast.

Mayor Tim Hanna says Time Warner has large call and service centers in the city, and he hopes Comcast keeps them in Appleton. He says the company picked the area because of the quality of available employees. He says when the deal is done, Comcast still has a business to run, and they're going to want quality people working for them.

Hanna says he speaks with Time Warner officials regularly, and he'll remain in contact with them through the transition to Comcast.
