Marquette falls in OT to Villanova

Marquette gave all they could in trying to score an upset at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, but fell short in overtime to No.4 Villanova 94-85 on Saturday.  Davante Gardner led the way again for Marquette with a season-high 29 points and 13 rebounds.  Todd Mayo added 18 points off the bench, including the last 10 points in regulation for force overtime at 77-77.  James Bell had 30 points for Villanova in the win, while Ryan Arcidiacono contributed 20 points and 11 assists.  The loss for Marquette at the BMO Harris Bradley Center was their first since Nov. 16th against Ohio St.

Marquette will remain at home to face the Providence Friars on Thursday.  Tip's set for 6pm, with pregame starting at 5:30pm on 95.3-WSCO.
