Jingle and Mingle on Main

Event Date: December, 05 2013

Event Times: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Shop downtown Cedar Falls during Jingle and Mingle Thursday, December 5 from 5-8pm!

Enjoy merchant open houses, stroll the sidewalks to view the beautifully decorated windows, smell the fresh greenery and enjoy the sparkle of holiday lights.  There’s no better time of year to realize first hand the “slogan” of Cedar Falls Main Street – “Where Good Friends Meet!”

Make memories with the little ones as you enjoy several other fun activities that will be taking place from 6-8pm!  Follow the spectacular music and light show to Santa’s Workshop located at the corner of 4th and Main Streets where children can visit Santa and his elves.  And get your photo taken with your favorite Holiday character–they will be out to greet everyone as well!  Free horse-drawn trolley rides will leave from the Cedar Falls Public Library throughout the evening. A Live Nativity will be open at 6th and Main Streets outside Richardson Funeral Home.  Bundle up and soak in the magic of downtown during Holiday Hoopla in Cedar Falls!

“Jingle and Mingle” is a long-standing tradition in downtown Cedar Falls. The evening has been celebrated on the first Thursday of December for the past twelve years.  For many residents and guests to the community, this evening marks a favorite tradition of getting together with friends to celebrate the holidays before things get “too busy.”
Jingle and Mingle on Main will be held in downtown Cedar Falls.
